- Elastic Breathing Weeks: Rather than forcing weeks into a rigid 7-day or 6-day lockstep, weeks in this system expand and contract ("breathe"). Standard weeks run on a 6-day elemental beat, while intercalary weeks absorb accumulated fractions without disrupting the underlying base-6 arithmetic.
- Highlighted Purple Cells (Slack Days): The purple cells on the grid indicate active slack windows. Rather than piling up leftover fractions for four years and dropping a heavy leap day into February, these highlighted days absorb solar-lunar residues smoothly throughout the year.
- Eclipse Proximity Indicators: Beyond tracking phase positions, the calendar's slack variables monitor the Moon's proximity to Earth's orbital plane (the lunar nodes). When slack approaches zero during New or Full Moons, these highlighted windows signal active eclipse seasons.
